A special edition of the Spanish Jazz radio show Club de Jazz where we conducted an interview with Maria Schneider. The Maria Schneider Orchestra is back with a new recording, The Thompson Fields. In this interview Maria reflects on her musical evolution since Evanescence (released in 1994) up to this day. Maria covers many topics during this conversation, such as her love of bird watching and natural preservation; tradition and evolution in music; and her stance on intellectual property, among others.
