Revelation 8:1-5 says that heaven itself was filled with the sound of silence for a half an hour. This "Silent Night" prepared God's messengers for what He was about to do. As we approach Christmas, the silence we all need gets us ready for the ultimate deliverance that Jesus Christ comes to give.
