Ephesians 6:1-4Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother" (this is the first commandment with a promise), "that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land." Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.  Let's face it, parenting is hard. It is some of the hardest stuff we do in life. If you are a parent you know how difficult it is just of them to eat healthy and get their homework done. Add on top of that the pressure for them to obey and to nourish their souls as well as their bodies and you've got quite possibly the hardest thing we'll ever do in life.
