Deborah S. Delisle is the Executive Director and CEO of ASCD. During her 40-year career in education, she has also served as a teacher, gifted education specialist, curriculum director, elementary school principal, district associate superintendent, superintendent, state superintendent, university instructor and as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Elementary and Secondary Education. The Association For Supervision and Curriculum Development is a nonprofit dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching, and leading so that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.
