Dr. Christine V. Emery is the Executive Director of the AAMI Foundation. Dr. Emery previously served as Vice President for Development at the Woodrow Wilson Center and has over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit world, including work on global economic development. Trilingual, Dr. Emery’s expertise is in strategic institutional building and fundraising. The AAMI Foundation is a nonprofit that drives reductions in preventable patient harm and improvements in outcomes when healthcare involves the use of complex health technology. AAMI itself is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing standards and other resources for the health technology community; its members include medical device manufacturers and professionals working in healthcare delivery organizations.
