Despite the pollies telling us “we’re all in this together”, it’s been pretty clear from the start of the pandemic that it wasn’t gonna affect us all in the same way. Sydney’s seen some people from the west suffer more than wealthier residents in the eastern suburbs and beaches, while Melbourne is divided over vaccines. The riot police have been deployed to Melbourne’s CBD as thousands marched to protest against mandatory vaccinations and a two week shutdown of the construction industry.
