Melissa Izbicki, an award winning independent film producer with over seven narrative short films under her belt and Annie Truex an actress join Host Deirdre Breakenridge on Women Worldwide. Melissa is currently working on her first feature film, The Big Day. Annie is one of the actresses starring in the new film. Annie moved to LA in 2012 to pursue her acting career. On the show, Melissa and Annie share their experiences on the set, discuss what it’s like to be a women in the film industry and examine the challenges they face. They also openly discuss their advice to other professionals tackling tough obstacles in highly competitive industries, and the high and low points in their careers.
