Since the dawn of film there have been movies that amass fervent fan-bases well beyond the release of the film. But what really makes a movie "cult" or a "classic"? Does it need to be bizarre or campy? Is it determined by the quotability of its script? Or is it entirely based on how many posters of it appear in college dorm rooms? We break down the indicators of cult classic movies and categorize all the ones people would be mad at us for forgetting.
