I'm writing on behalf of my 78-year-old father who has two severe conditions: bronchiectasis and peripheral neuropathy. My father has been on antibiotics off and on for years for the recurrent chest infections and excess mucus that come with bronchiecstasis and make it difficult for him to breathe.
