Exposed! My Day In Court...

Informações:

Synopsis

The day that letter arrived in the mail, I cringed. I was anxious and nervous about what would happen next.  I reported Thursday morning with a niggling feeling that I was going to end up on a jury; judging somebody for something they had or had not done. And my hope of slipping through the process, invisible, ended when “Juror number 16_, Greg Smith” echoed across the speakers. For the next hour, I listened to the comments and questions. And through my time in the juror’s box, I learned a number of lessons. One of which was that of judgment. It doesn’t define who they are; it defines who you are. In this episode, I share the story of my day in court, why I believe judgement is almost always wrong, why we do it, and the price we pay.
