At their , Spartanburg City Council gave unanimous approval to a measure paving the way for a new $7 million mixed-use development behind the . The hotel's owners, Jimmy Gibbs and Andy Cajka, have plans for a new, complimentary project on the adjacent property, though no specifics are yet being disclosed.
