AfterBirth, a Fourth and More Trimester Support Group Today we talked a bunch about parenting, and specifically, boys getting haircuts and not liking pink anymore because of pressure from 6-year-old peers. How do we even combat that? Our kids conforming to gender roles to be cool or fit in or whatever while parts of ourselves die and we navigate explaining that its ok to be you. Gender Bread Person is a cool tool  From there we flowed into consent and teaching consent and what does that look like when you are peeling an unconsenting kid off their sibling who did not consent to get crawled all over.
