CHAZ or CHOP was started when George Floyd was murdered by 4 cops in Minneapolis. There have been 4 shootings recently in CHAZ or CHOP. This has prompted Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan’s decision to ask these inhabitants of CHAZ or CHOP to end their stay at Capital Hill. One man was recently shot and is now planning to sue the Police of Seattle because they did not respond to him after he was shot. Business owners located within CHAZ or CHOP are also gearing up to sue Seattle because of the repercussions from CHAZ or CHOP.
