Missing Lon this week, Tabitha (@keepin.tabs__) of the Keepin’ Tabs podcast entered the chat with Keith and Victoria. The conversation started off light with Victoria making sure y’all didn’t think she was an Uncle Tom then rolled into a review of the most recent #Verzuz CELEBRATION featuring the incomparable Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin. Souls were blessed. The chat then took on talking through the protests that have gripped the nation as Black people and allies continue to fight racial injustice on the heels of the murder of George Floyd. Touching on the church’s role in the fight, Black celebrities speaking from ebony towers, and how some skin folk ain’t kinfolk (lookin’ at you Shameik Moore), this has all been very heavy but the hope is that this week’s episode will bring you comfort and a little levity.
