EMC Core Technologies Division includes EMCs traditional File and Block Storage Technologies along with EMC Backup and Recover Solutions. I had the opportunity to sit down with Scott Delandy (@ScottDelandy) at the EMC Forum in New York City last week. Scott is part of EMCs CTO Office within EMC Core Technologies. Scott has been in IT for 25 years with a wide range of expertise across storage, network, backup and management software. In his current role, he works closely with users and partners and is responsible for defining the “why” for EMC’s technical strategy and roadmap. His previous roles include product management, market and technology analysis, and technical pre-sales field support.
