Phil is back, after taking a few weeks off to move in with his girlfriend Gina, who is also a guest on this week’s show along with her friends, Michelle and Sarah. This week, Matt takes a break from talking about “boy shows” and talks with the panel about “girl shows” including: My 600 Pound Life, The Bachelor, Project Runway, Girls, and the Real Housewives shows. But we also find some common ground, with shows like Black Mirror, Nathan For You, Westworld, High Maintenance, Here and Now, and Easy. We also discuss how modern technology not only affects how we watch TV, but also how we interact with people. Do we use our phones too much? Is online dating a good thing or a bad thing? Is Matt an Uber driver? We also discuss our personal experiences with reality TV shows, including House Hunters, The Hollywood Video High Five Challenge, Ramblin’ Rod, and traveling to Nicaragua to get a haircut from The Hill’s star Justin Bobby.
