Shortly after the death of my father-in-law, Hillard Hamilton, my wife was contacted by a guy we call Uncle Moe. He was in the army with my father-in-law during World War II. He ended up making a cassette tape for Dee, telling stories of the war, and also playing a resonator guitar and harmonica with songs they sang back then. It honestly has the feel of an old time radio show. He has quite a sense of humor, and can spin a great yarn. Please bear in the mind that this was recorded before political correctness was as big a deal as it is now. During the war, the U.S. government put out a lot of propaganda films and radio programs in which the enemies in the Pacific war were collectively called "The Japs". Many of the WWII gene
