I caught up with him before he left us to start a private practice at Mercy Medical Center. We talk about his residency at UW, and he personally dealt with burnout as a resident working night shifts. He gave a terrific Grand Rounds Talk entitled, Night Float: Working on Mysteries without Any Clues.
