AKATA is term that Nigerian Americans used when they’re referring to black Americans. AKATA: means wild cat . I don’t understand why Nigerian would call us wild cat. I found it to be very condescending and disrespectful. Black Americans make it possible for them come to America to work, studied and have better life. We’re not leaving America to go to Nigeria to live except for business. Last time I checked what Nigeria have to offer black Americans except Afro beats and lots of scammers. Nigerian are known for marrying America women for green card. Meanwhile they have 4 wife’s back home in Nigeria. I hate the hypocrisy among African who come to America to obtain their education. Once they get it they tried to look down upon black Americans “ Shame On You Nigerian “ . I am not saying all Nigerian behave like this. But most of them do .
