Today we are joined by Brigid O'Reilly, co-founder of Distaff wine, to hear her story of navigating the wine world. Brigid discusses some of the barriers for young people and for women in the industry and shares her aspirations for the future. She also tells us about founding Distaff during COVID, some common misunderstandings when it comes to PET glass (Distaff bottles their wine in PET), and she offers advice to fellow young entrepreneurs interested in wine and the wine industry. Distaff Wine is the work and passion of women – a team consisting of a mom and four sisters who have been in the wine industry for the majority of their lives.
