Faced with the ongoing unfaithfulness and rebellion of the city of Jerusalem God reveals his mighty power in a single event. He does this in a couple of ways but ultimately we should all be shocked by how this event plays out and we can be left in an utter state of awe at the power, might, and goodness of God.
