No one enjoys waiting - especially kids the day before Christmas! For many folks in the Old Testament, they waited their entire lives to see the fulfillment of God's promised Messiah. It wasn't until 2,000 later that this promise was fulfilled when God sent His Son Jesus to be born in Bethlehem. God's timing is perfect (Galatians 4:4) and He always keeps His promises.
