Sometimes mosquito + red is a good thing … Guest Profile Captain Jonathan Moss is the owner and operator of Go Castaway Fishing Charters in Central Florida. Light tackle saltwater fishing for Mosquito Lagoon redfish is his specialty. Capt. Jonathan grew up in Orlando and on the “Space Coast” of Florida. He has always loved saltwater and freshwater fishing here. Before guiding he took a detour as a PE teacher for a few years, but the call of the water was too strong. Capt. Jonathan hung up his whistle and picked up his push pole. These days he can be found poling clients around in his skiff for Mosquito Lagoon redfish, speckled sea trout, black drum, snook, and tarpon. But in this episode, the Mosquito Lagoon redfish bite was so incredible the most difficult part was heading home.
