If you walk around to different schools in Floyd County, you are likely to see George Bevels name somewhere on them. That is because Mr. Bevels spent over 28 years as a former Floyd County Schools Board Member. From 1988 to 2016, George worked hard to make sure all Floyd County Students were provided for. More than just a Board Member, George discusses his time at GE, coming home from Vietnam, and what it takes to spend a lifetime with the love of your life.
