Maisha Hazzard is the youngest child of a scientist turned metaphysician in the disguise of a United Methodist minister. Science and Spirituality were integrated aspects of life first discussed in ordinary conversations about all matter as energy or light and all light as the very essence of God. E=MC2 was understood to mean that “that which is visible was made from that which is invisible”. Our true Nature as Light made visible in flesh was a common household understanding. While still in high school, Maisha was introduced to the mystical writings of Meister Eckhart, Martin Luther, Kierkegaard, Martin Buber, and others as she was simultaneously spending Saturdays in advanced classes like organic chemistry. When she was still a teenager, she was taken on a mystical journey during which she was shown that the Universe is the “body of God”, and everything is like a cell in the body of God. Each “cell” has within it the full Intelligence of the Cosmic One that can unfold to replicate the full Nature of the Divin
