Bhāvani Maki started practicing yoga in 1987, navigating through the powerful method of Ashtanga Yoga and studied under Pattabhi Jois for many years.  I was given her book by a friend, titled The Yogi’s Roadmap. I started reading this book and instantly felt a connection to the words that were being shared through her natural experience. Bhāvani has a gift to illuminate the esoteric and lofty teachings of the Patanjali Yoga Sutra.
