On this episode of WOCTalk, we sit down with Carole Bauer, MSN, RN, ANP-BC, OCN, CWOCN. Carole is currently employed as a wound and ostomy nurse practitioner at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan, and has been a certified WOC nurse since 1997. As an active member of the Society, she is passionate about the development and empowerment of WOC nurses and the WOCN Society; this has motivated to her to seek various roles within the Society, including Member at Large (Board of Directors), a member of the Ostomy Committee, member of the Scope and Standards Task Force and Chair of the WOCN Society Scholarship Committee.
