Creative Energy In You! ~ The Women Of Wonders

What is creative energy and how does it impact our lives? Can we use it to create change? Open doors? Move mountains? Cheri L. R. Taylor introduces Creative Energy in You with special Guest Sherina Rodriguez! Sherina is the Director and Founder of Obsidian Blues, a Detroit City based Non-Profit Poetry Troupe made up of young people ages 15-21, writing Social Justice themed poetry. Sherina is a writer herself, and has spent a lot of time teaching in schools and workshops with young people in various venues throughout the Metropolitan Detroit area. We will explore the role of creative energy in the writing and performance of poetry and how that energy can affect changes far beyond the simple framing and crafting of words.
