Utter Nerdsense

We are discussing episode 7 of Season 3 on Agents of Steranko, our Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD podcast. In “Chaos Theory” May and the entire team finally discover that Andrew is Lash. Agents of SHIELD has excelled when dealing with difficult moral issues where nobody is completely right or wrong and no decision is easy. This week the team faces a dangerous Inhuman and brings this question to the front. Is being Inhuman a disease to be cured? Do those who have powers have a right to decide their own fate, especially if they are dangerous powers? Daisy may be the good side of those who have powers, using them to save Rosalind at one point. But Andrew/Lash shows that there are also those who are dangerous and feel they can be “judge, jury and executioner” based upon their own righteous moral judgement. It’s all a bit of a tease towards next years “Captain America: Civil War” movie. Oh, and we also discuss how Lash is similar to Under Dog. So that happened.
