Once Upon a Time 518 | Ruby Slippers Recap This week on our Happily Ever After podcast we discuss Ruby and Dorothy as our first full gay romance in Once Upon a Time episode 517, “Her Handsome Hero”. They introduced Mulan as a lesbian character during her story with Aurora a few seasons ago, but here we found that it is Ruby and Dorothy who fall in love, ending in the patented True Loves Kiss. We both enjoyed how romantic their love was and even dive into some of the queer history that has surrounded the Dorothy character for almost a century.
