Dellen Millard was the heir to a Canadian aviation dynasty, Millard Air, and an only child. In 2006, Millard met Mark Smich, who was firmly middle class and like most people, impressed by Millard's wealth. Together they began committing small crimes for thrills and getting away with it. Unfortunately for three individuals, Millard decided he was entitled to start taking lives too.
