Chatting With Sherri welcomes award winning artist; Bruce Brenneise! Bruce Brenneise is an award-winning illustrator for the Writers and Illustrators of the Future contest​! His passion is for world-building through vibrant, epic and strange environments, helping clients flesh out ambitious stories and excite their fans. He's best known for his work on games such as Numenera and Slay the Spire. He lives in Seattle with his wife, son, and carnivorous plants.  Bruce Brenneise grew up in the countryside by Lake Michigan; nature and fantasy were two of his main interests from the beginning. He continued to not-so-secretly focus on magic, monsters, and myths while studying scientific illustration at the University of Michigan. Pursuit of diverse environments and experiences led him around the world in search of artistic inspiration: a field sketching trip to southern Africa, months amidst ancient ruins of Anatolia, not to mention six years working and traveling throughout China and other parts of East Asia.
