45 - The Addiction Chronicles: Susan Miller "Before"

Informações:

Synopsis

In today's episode I talk to Susan Miller, one of my listeners that reached out to me and was vulnerable enough to share her own current struggle with sugar addiction.  Susan is a mother and grandmother, born and raised in the South.  Her career was in the public school system as a School Nutrition Supervisor.  She retired two years ago due to a crisis of conscience because of what she was regulated to serve to students.  In 2016, on a quest to find reasons for a multitude of her own symptoms, she became certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.  Overweight most of her life, she was sent to Weight Watchers at the age of 10, which set her up for a lifetime of dieting and disordered eating.  Susan is celebrating 60 in August and is ready to find out what life is like without sugar and flour.
