Dominique Pritchett grew up in Waukegan, IL and Kenosha, WI amidst serious poverty - and even experienced periods of homelessness.   And because of her (single) mother's difficulties,  Dominique was sometimes the de facto parent of the family.  But she surmounted all of those challenges to graduate from Bradford High and Carthage College - and will soon be certified as a psychologist.  She hopes to open up a private practice in Kenosha.  She speaks at the Civil War Museum Tuesday night as part of their Courageous Conversations series.
