McGill-Toolen seeks their third straight 7A Region 1 title and to show they're still the team to beat in the southern half of the state come playoff time. Meanwhile, Fairhope hopes to cap off a stunning turnaround from 2-8 to 8-1 (so far) on the season with a region crown. Fairhope is the only other school to win a 7A Region 1 title aside from McGill.
