We speak with Nancy Tate, co-chair of the 2020 Women's Vote Centennial Initiative and a past executive director of the League of Women Voters of the United States.   She is coming to Carthage as a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow -and will appear on Tuesday the 29th at 6 p.m. in a public interview with Carthage faculty member Dr. Stephanie Mitchell.  In this conversation, we talk about the long struggle for women to secure the right to vote, a right which was finally and completely granted by the ratification of the 19th amendment in 1920.
