Be slow to follow in the footsteps of others, for I have called you to tread a different path. I have called you to walk in a new direction, and called you to do a new thing. The things of yesterday, though good, will not be sufficient for the new things I am giving you to put forth on this Earth. I am calling you to walk in a new direction, sing a new song, and play new roles. (1) The things and people of yesterday were for yesterday, but I am. I am the God of today, yesterday, and tomorrow. (2) So realize with complete sobriety what I am doing now, and what I will be soon giving you to birth forth upon this Earth, for it will not look like yesterday. Yesterday has come and gone, and today is a new day, so understand this, and make yourself ready not for what has already happened, but for what is yet to happen. Do not retain the mindsets of yesterday. Do not mimic the innovators of yesterday. Do not imitate others, for I am calling as an individual. I am calling you to blaze new trails and lay new highways
