I'll Show You Mine

Welcome to another brand new season of I'll Show You Mine! This week, Elyse shows James "Fiddler on the Roof" from 1971, directed by Norman Jewison and starring Topol as Tevye, a poor Jewish milkman in the Ukraine in 1905. This iconic film adaptation of the 1964 Broadway musical has become a major part of popular culture, and we dive right in! Join us as we talk about the moment in history this story evokes, revel in the great songs and dances, get real about how humans are brutal, and still barely scratch the surface of everything this movie is about.
