Employees can work from virtually anywhere, allowing companies to tap into a global talent pool, and save on infrastructure and office space. The financial audit is a notoriously time-consuming, manual process for small- and medium-sized auditing firms and their clients. Various tools have been introduced to automate and digitize parts of the audit, but to date, we believe there is no one solution that will also help organize and manage all aspects of the audit engagement. The current manual processes, and the fact that information and documents are often scattered, presents challenges for firms who strive to execute a full digital audit remotely.
