Watching My Stories

Not a lot to discuss this week as Dhani spent time watching TV series instead of movies... but here we go!  First, Dhani watched Bad Times At The El Royale.  She had high expectations for this movie, and the first half met them, but the second half was a let down.   Next, Dhani talks about season 2 of Marvel's Runaways on Hulu.  She is surprised how much she enjoys this show, yet after John points out she likes all Marvel entities, it seems to make sense.  Next, Dhani talks about the new adaptation of Vanity Fair on Amazon Prime.  She had different realizations about Rebecca Sharpe while watching this iteration.   Finally, we move on to the 2018 Corner, where both John and Dhani discuss the movies from 2018 that they loved, liked, hated, and still want to see.   A shorter episode this week, but hopefully you are reminded of the good year we had in movies and TV.  Happy New Year and see you all again next year!
