FEEL, HEAL, DEAL We should have all received a manual at birth on ‘how-to express your emotions’ but since we didn’t, we cover the basics in this episode with a return guest, Courtney Callaway, LPC, RYT, EMDR-trained therapist. Feelings are influenced by your thoughts, perceptions and beliefs.  Beliefs are typically unconscious so you could be unaware of your thoughts surrounding a topic that causes you to have a certain feeling.  Feelings can also be aggravated by stress so if you are already stressed-out your body and mind are primed to be  set-off quicker and easier. Feelings are energy. If you’re in touch with your feelings and can express them, you’ll feel more energetic. If you’re out of touch with your feelings or unable to give them expression you may feel anxious or depressed. Feelings are contagious. Those people that are
