Marsha P Johnson helped put the T in LGBT, as well as fought for gay rights in general and is commonly known for leading in the Stonewall Riots. A founding member of the Gay Liberation Front and Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (STAR), which helped provide housing and support for gay, homeless, youth in New York City.
