There is nothing that a person can do or not do that will make God love him/her less. While Christians are free to live however they please, to follow Jesus means to consider the effect of our actions on our family members and reframes the question from “Can I do…” to “Should I do…” The Apostle Paul challenges us to expand the definition of family to include those within our faith community. Following Jesus is not the only way…but it is the best way.
