Pat Caristo has been a licensed, working private investigator since 1985, specializing in the area of unsolved homicide investigations. She is Executive Director of NIA/NM's Resource Center for Victims of Violent Death which bridges wide gaps in accessibility by victims and families of crimes. Formerly a member of the Philadelphia Police Department she was honored with a Heroism Commendation by Mayor Frank Rizzo of the City of Philadelphia for saving the life of a woman threatening to jump from the Henry Ave Bridge.
