 This is how I do it to not have any issues, I first upload the video onto YouTube.com, once it’s there I grab the share URL from youtube.com and embed that into the post on WordPress.com.   Using this container [embed]URL of the youtube video[/embed] that will then show like this.  https://theguyrcookreport.podbean.com/e/20190618-the-guy-r-cook-report-video-tutorial-how-to-embed-a-youtube-hosted-podcast-video-on-wordpresscom-674/
