Marks presentation of the Olivet Discourse is the longest teaching passage in the book, but still very clear. While there is helpful information about the end time events, the passage emphasizes more. Remember Marks purpose is to help you, the reader, willingly conclude that Jesus is the Messiah. Mark 13 unpacks the vital truth that in the midst of the chaos and hype of current events, train your eyes to search for the Savior. He alone will remain consistent.
