It was in 2002 when Gerry Blaze fell in love with black music. Pete Rock, Erykah Badu, Roy Ayers, George Duke, and J Dilla were among his first love. Started DJ-ing at house parties at the age of twenty and has been on the scene since. His smooth cuts and well crafted mix has earned him trust from his musical peers, sharing stages with big names from Jakarta's local scene such as Rafi Muhammad, REI, Doni Joesran, Nikita Dompas, Danilla, and Matthew Sayersz to name a few.
