Kevin Terrell Heard is President of the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce.  In 2013, Heard founded the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce.  As President, he secured a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundations of Southeast Michigan, Hope Fund and an additional $2,500 from the Wells Fargo Rainbow Supplier Program. That increased membership and engagement with over 50 companies. Currently, the chamber has grown to have nine corporate partners and over 70 members. In May 2017, Kevin was honored as one of Crain’s Detroit Twenty in their 20’s for his work with the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce and lead of Pride Forward USA Today Network LGBTQ Employee Resource Group. The Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce is hosting Ford Globe's 25th Anniversary Dinner on Thursday, June 6th, 2019 at the Dearborn Inn.
