Herod hatched a plot to kill the Christ because he saw him as a threat to his throne. But rather than letting Herod succeed in his catastrophic plan, God reversed Herod’s efforts in a way that fulfilled Scripture and brought God glory. God can reverse our catastrophic plans – and even our catastrophic decisions – as well.
