As we continue our study of the tabernacle and its furnishings, we examine the 2nd of 3 pieces of furniture that was within the holy place.: the golden lamp stand. The tabernacle was a tent that was four layers thick. Imagine how dark it must have been! There were no windows and light could not penetrate the four layers of coverings. It would have been a place of black darkness if God had not provided the “light”.
